Sean Crotty, MPH, Doctoral Dandidate
Sean has forged his most valuable connections with people.
It was his keen interest in holistic health that led him to earn a Master’s of Public Health from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. While he originally expected his degree would apply to his career in international health, he was struck by perhaps our greatest global health crisis: mental health.
Our modern and colonized society doesn’t lend itself naturally to mental health; in fact, depression, burnout, disconnectedness, trauma, and anxiety plague vast swaths of our population. Yet, they’re hard to talk about. But it’s getting easier.
Sean specializes in Jungian depth psychology and eco-psychology. With a profound commitment to supporting individuals on their journey of self-discovery. Sean integrates the wisdom of analytical psychology with the insights of eco-psychology to foster holistic growth and transformation.
Sean also incorporates eco-psychological practices into his sessions, encouraging clients to explore their relationship with nature as a source of healing and renewal. Whether through outdoor activities, nature-based rituals, or deep reflection on ecological principles,
That’s why Sean is currently in the pre-doc phase of his doctoral degree in psychology at the Pacifica Graduate Institute. This program, which focuses on a holistic, personalized, depth psychology approach, integrates modern Western practice with the wisdom of indigenous cultures and spiritual practice.
Mental health will probably never be as simple as taking a pill … but, it can be a wonderful adventure getting there.
Sean lives with his spoiled dog, bees, one self-confident cat, and four expressive chickens. When not studying or working with clients, he roves the quieter corners of the mountains.
